CLAMMING

Tribeca Sloan Discovery Award winner— in mentorship program

In a rugged fishing village in Maine, three adults find their livelihoods, marriages, and identities upended by opposing responses to the climate crisis. When a biologist discovers that abnormally low dissolved oxygen levels will decimate the local scallop population her husband, a scallop farmer, optimistically buys an extra scallop boat for the upcoming season … so she escapes into an affair. But when the entire scallop harvest washes up dead, this irrational love triangle is thrown back together to stave off complete economic and ecological collapse— and let some of the old ways die in this ironic romantic comedy.

Hour long drama.
